Friday Fashion: Threads Three Ways

Starting this March...

Lovely Lilah's Mama is going to try to do a "Friday Fashion" post
(per a request - and I'm already a day behind getting this out)

in addition to a Lilah post,

showing three ways to wear one item of clothing from her closet!

It's sort of like playing dress-up and shopping your own closet all in one?!
(I know Lovely Lilah's Papa sure hopes it results in more of the latter)

This weeks "Threads Three Ways" feature:
The Plaid Button Down

Plaid Button Down: American Eagle

I love a good plaid shirt!
(and am pretty stoked that I can finally fit my post-baby flubby belly in this one again)

You can find these pretty much anywhere - and the bonus right now for me
is the "nursing friendly" aspect!
Pop a button (or a snap in the case of this shirt)
 and presto...
"booby juice" can freely flow!

Hope you find some inspiration (whether your nursing or not)!

For the final wrap-up of our Vermont adventures,

Lilah and I want to thank Grandma and Grandpa T

for having us!

Mommy because the help kept me sane and the sleep was much needed!

and

Lilah because she was spoiled rotten - although I have to say I think she totally deserves it!

We love you guys!!!

In "The House of the Lord"

My parents have a giant clock hung over the mantel of their fireplace...

All week long, Lilah kept staring at it.

Eventually she was even grinning and gabbing to it repeatedly throughout the day.

At some point I had an aha moment...

When I really paid attention to what she was looking at, I realized it wasn't the clock at all!

Lilah was having a Will Ferrell "Buddy" moment from the movie "Elf"...

That's right.

Lovely Lilah was trying to tell Mommy...

"JESUS!  I KNOW HIM!"

So I decided to take Lovely Lilah

to the real

"House of The Lord"

aka

Church
on Sunday morning...

Mama got ready first!

Then Lilah...

She got so excited she could barely sit up straight!

But quickly became impatient waiting...

So we let her spend some time with her special friend...

And then it was out the door...

And my little Angel was

as quiet as a church mouse the entire time!

Morrison's Moment

Sometimes they say

people can look like their pets?

I'm not sure that is such a good thing...

Love that bug-eyed pooch!
(and that beautiful bug-eyed baby)

Mommy & Me Monday Moved to Tuesday

(Vermont Edition continued...)

While we were visiting,

Mommy and Lilah took advantage of the awesomeness that is...

"Mommy Matinee"

(I love my "earthy-crunchy yuppie" Green Mountain State)

Lilah's first movie was
"True Grit"

(Yes - we are annoying and took a picture in the theatre.  Notice I say "we" as if Lilah had any choice in the matter.  Makes me feel better to make her a partner in my shenanigans)

We also managed to fit in a few shopping trips...

The results of which ended with Mommy having to ship 2 boxes home because our suitcase
 was at capacity!

(Thanks Grandma)

(Ready to get our "shop" on)

(Gotta be comfy for cold-weather shopping)

And lastly
we did A LITTLE of this...

(when Mommy was able to pry you from Grandma & Grandpa)
